My relationship with Ooni of Ife

Contrary to what is being bandied in many quarters, the Founder of the Oduduwa University, Dr. Ramon Adedoyin has said that he enjoys a cordial relationship with the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi. Ramon Adegoke Adedoyin Adedoyin was alleged to be the sponsor of a poetry, which was composed to deride the stool of the Ooni. In a statement signed on behalf of Adedoyin by his legal adviser, Mr. Abiodun Williams, Adedoyin said: “I am pleased with the peaceful atmosphere being enjoyed by all citizens, sons and daughters of Ile Ife. I also enjoy a cordial relationship with Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi and I see ‘false’ stories flying around as an attempt to destroy this peaceful relationship and also as a measure to distract me.” While he maintained that he was not the sponsor of such poetry, he vowed that he would not yield into any attempt to drag him into any controversy.
