Olamide Adedeji, simply known as Olamide is a Nigerian rapper, a brand ambassador, a father and a businessman. Olamide was
born and raised in Bariga, Lagos and he is the founder and CEO of one of the fastest growing music record label in Nigeria – YBNL Nation. Like his song with Phyno, Olamide makes “ dope money ” from his album sales, invited shows and events, his own Olamide Live In Concert #OLIC, and his endorsement deals.
Olamide is an ambassador to the likes of Ciroc, Guinness (#MadeOfBlack), and the giant telecom brand Etisalat. Since his rise to fame in 2011, “Badoo” has done everything within his capacity to make sure he remains in the mainstream. Olamide’s endorsement deals shoots him well over the N100 Million mark and he charges between N2 million to N4 million per show for bookings and between N10k – N300k per show for organized events or his concerts (Olamide Live In Concert #OLIC).
The rapper is also rumoured to own three houses, one on the island, and two on the mainland. Olamide certainly knows how to enjoy his wealth too. His present luxurious house saw him part ways with a whopping sum of N38 Million, and it is located in the coveted neighbourhood of Lekki, Lagos. He built another one in Bariga close to a Petrol Station which people claim also belongs to him. The Bariga crib is reportedly worth around N25 Million.
Olamide also has his third house built in his parent’s name, located also in Bariga where he grew up. The exquisitely furnished and finished three bedroom apartment costs around N20 Million and he dedicated it to his Mum, whom he seems to be close to as seen from his commercial for one of his endorsement company – Peak Milk, the deal he signed with fellow musical stars – Nyanya, Yemi Alade and Selebobo.
